3s
An extremely sugary icing that dries very stiff! Used for attaching decorations or as its own decoration. Often used to decorate cookies.
INGREDIENTS
- 3 tablespoons Meringue Powder (32.25 grams)
- 1 pound Confectioners Sugar (454 grams - sifted, though I usually don't bother)
- 4 tablespoons Warm Water (59 ml - start with less in a hot/humid climate)
INSTRUCTIONS
Beat all ingredients until icing forms stiff peaks (about 7-10 minutes at low speed).
NOTES
Will store (though NOT in the refrigerator) in an airtight container for one month.
Make sure you use nothing (bowls/utensils) with residual grease on it when making or storing!
